1. About ailetterbox

ailetterbox is an intermediary platform operated by WeLINKanything Ltd, connecting seekers of legal opinions with qualified legal experts. We are not a law firm, we do not employ the experts, and we do not provide legal advice.

2. Nature of the service

• Seekers may submit a legal brief for review by an expert of their choice.
• Experts are independent professionals responsible for their own advice, professional standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Any opinion an expert provides is their own professional work, not a service of ailetterbox.
• The initial opinion is provided at no cost to the seeker. Any follow-on work is separately agreed between the seeker and the expert.

3. Not legal advice

Nothing on ailetterbox constitutes legal advice from us. An expert’s response is a professional opinion based on the information you provide, not a substitute for a full engagement. For binding legal advice, you should engage a lawyer directly under a formal retainer.

4. Your responsibilities as a seeker

• Submit only content you have the right to share.
• Do not include highly sensitive personal data (e.g. medical, financial account details) unless necessary.
• Understand that you choose which expert receives your brief. You are responsible for that choice, including any conflicts of interest you are aware of.

5. Expert responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable regulatory, licensing, and professional-conduct requirements in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to SRA / Law Society for England & Wales, State Bar rules for US practitioners).
• Run your own conflict-of-interest checks before responding to any brief.
• Decline briefs where you cannot advise appropriately.

6. Fees

ailetterbox is free for both seekers and experts to use. Any fees for follow-on work between a seeker and an expert are agreed and paid directly between them. ailetterbox does not take a fee or commission on that follow-on work at this time.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ailetterbox is not liable for the content, accuracy, or consequences of any legal opinion provided by an expert. Your relationship in respect of legal advice is with the expert directly.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England & Wales.
